Waterbury Clock Co., hanging "Mobile", ca 1903. This is one of several hanging clocks Waterbury made using an open bottom or exposed weights and pendulum. This series used both plain and twisted brass weights. 8 day, half hour striking movement with the pull up chain winding feature. This clock is a good runner. Dark oak case is 47 1/2 inches high, appears to be complete and original with one exception - 2 small trim pieces missing about midway of the case. Great silver dial, brass hands, brass twisted weights, and pendulum. There are 2 labels on the back, protected by plastic. Ly-Waterbury No.570A.
