C.1874, Seth Thomas Clock Co., "Victoria" 30-hour time/strike City Series mantel clock. Rosewood veneered case is excellent condition with an original finish. Dial has had an average repaint, looks OK. The glasses are original. The hands have been replaced. The gilt molding surrounding the door is worn to gesso. This model was revised in 1879; see Ly's 3rd edition of Seth Thomas Clocks, page 211. Height 15.5 inches
