C.1868, Seth Thomas Clock Co., 8-day time/strike "Tudor No. 1" round top shelf clock in generally good+ condition. It looks like someone has shellacked the mahogany veneered case in the distant past and it needs to be rubbed down. There is a little roughness on the base and a little chip along the back edge. The original dial has a little paint loss around the mounting screws. The door glass is original. The hands are improper (replacements are available from Timesavers). The large 8-day movement with Geneva stops is properly signed. Retains a very good label. A pleasant model that is hard to find in good condition: this has potential. Height 15.25" $175-$275
