Seth Thomas Clock Co. another rare City Series, "Seattle", ca 1881. Big 8 day movement striking a coil gong, alarms on a brass bell, runs great. Fancy brass Seth Thomas pendulum, lions head. Original Seth Thomas glass, paper dial, silver dial ring and alarm set knob. The dial ring is original to this clock but has been abused, extra holes drilled rather than fill the original holes, etc. The factory stamp on the back indicates the clock was made June 1891. I collected City Series for years and had over 90 different models at one time, but never had the Seattle. It is not in the Ly-Seth Thomas book, but can be found in other catalogs.
