Seth Thomas "Round Band", ca 1863. Early shelf clock with a signed brass movement, full label, original zinc dial, although flaked about 10%. If you want originality, it is great as is, if you want looks, spend $25 and get the dial repainted. 30 hour, strikes a gong on the hours. Runs, but needs adjusting. 17 inch walnut case has never been cleaned. Good veneer generally, may be a sliver off somewhere. Part of the glass rebacked, middle section should be.
