Seth Thomas City Series clock, the "New Orleans", C. 1879. This 8 day shelf clock is running like a charm, strikes the nickel bell every hour. The 16" walnut case has black trim around the top of the base, which is correct. A good portion of the old black label is inside, brass pendulum, nickel dial rings around the original paper dial, now showing some finger nail scratches on the left side which is normal for a right handed clock winder and hand setter person. Case is slightly dirty and needs some polish. Ly-Seth Thomas #211.
