Seth Thomas "Naples", ca 1902. Another of the City Series made by Seth, this is one I had never seen before. I collected City Series for several years but never found one. This is quite a clock. Intricate carvings top and bottom. The 8 day movement is the round French style with outside count wheel, signed by ST, and numbered 3 15/16. Strikes a Cathedral Bell on the half hours. Nice beveled glass, French Sash. 12 inch hand carved case is made of dark mahogany. One piece porcelain dial is signed by Seth Thomas. The grommet on the right side is missing, therefore the porcelain paid the price as it is chipped around the winding arbor, otherwise very good.Ly-Seth Thomas No. 205.
