A true ships bell striking on the half hours, it has an 8 day, 11 jeweled precision made movement with temperature compensated escapement and Breguet hairspring. Runsand strikes properly. The special order chrome case is supported by a baseof solid mahogany. Silvered metal 4 inch dial has numerals etched in black.Stands 8.5" high, 10.5" wide. Ly-Seth Thomas No. 1464. These 50 year old shipsbell clocks have regularly been selling for $500 to $750.
