Seth Thomas mantle clock, "La Fleur", ca 1909. This poplar metal clock has a rich gold finish that is practically all still intact and pretty bright not to have been cleaned at all. The case is 14 inches tall, original back door and American sash with beveled glass. The hinge is being held with a finishing nail which works fine and not noticeable but you may want to change. Very nice one piece porcelain dial, painted garland of flowers, signed, Arabic numerals marked boldly, minute marked on an outside ring. 8 day movement is their round plate, No. 3 15/16, signed by ST, striking a standing gong, running with a correct pendulum.
