C.1904, Seth Thomas Clock Co., EMPIRE No. 2, brass and glass crystal regulator, 8- day with cathedral gong strike. Condition: Overall very good original condition. The case has been polished regularly and the original gold finish is absent. The base of the clock was cast out of red brass, which now gives the case a tu-tone look. (pink+yellow) The signed porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. This was an expensive clock in 1904, selling for $30, about the same price as a French import.
