C.1910, Seth Thomas, "12 INCH DROP OCTAGON" , oak cased, 8-day schoolhouse timepiece. Condition: the lower access door and tablet have been restored (done around 1970), and there is no latch to hold the door closed. The recent paper dial has been pasted onto the original dial pan. The balance of the case retains original veneer and finish in excellent condition. Good label inside case with some water stains. Running and with a cleaning label dated 1920 from Holyoke, Mass. Ht 23.5" [60cm]
