C.1921, Seth Thomas, Chime Clock No. 75, 8-Day Westminster Chime tambour clock in mahogany. Condition: the silvered brass dial is oxidized in a few places, mostly from winding and setting the hands. At some time the brass leader for the original pendulum got lost and a workman made one out of a steel rod and paper clip. You can see the original pattern in Tran Duy Ly's Seth Thomas book, 3rd edition, page 170, fig 453, and it is relatively east to make one out of rolled sheet brass. Chime rods sound nice in this clock. Height 9.75 inches
