C.1915 Seth Thomas Clock Co., "Chime Clock No. 14", 8-day time/strike 5-bell Sonora Chime mantel clock. Condition: Mahogany case is in nice condition with some minor dings; original finish has been varnished over. Silvered dial is very clean with scratches near the winding holes. Hands are original. One problem is the parts that are mounted on the rear plate that actuate the hours strike hammer are missing. The hammer is there, but the rest needs to be restored... A picture in the Tran Duy Ly's Seth Thomas catalog shows a picture of the movement with that area showing which could aid in making the repair, or look at a friend's Sonora. Height 14 inches
